Customer preparation
Before your dryer vent service visit.
A little preparation helps keep the visit efficient, protects the home, and makes it easier to confirm whether your request is standard service or access that needs extra review.
Before the technician arrives
- Clear loose items around the dryer if practical.
- Secure pets and make sure an adult or authorized building contact can provide access.
- Do not disconnect gas or electrical connections yourself unless a qualified person has instructed you to do so.
- If the dryer cannot be moved safely, tell us before the visit so the job can be quoted correctly.
- Have COI instructions, parking/loading notes, and unit access details ready for apartments, condos, co-ops, and multi-unit buildings.
Review before pricing conditions
These conditions may require photo review, custom pricing, referral, or a properly qualified contractor before work continues: roof exits, shared shafts, bird nests, crushed or damaged ducts, rerouting, installation, replacement, wall/ceiling/roof cutting, gas/electrical work, appliance repair, mold concerns, high-rise access, or commercial kitchen/restaurant exhaust.
